As The World Mourns the Passing of David Bowie – January 11, 2016

We are all reeling from the shock of this morning’s news that David Bowie has passed away.  I guess we expected our beloved icon to live forever but such is not the case.  The Thin White Duke seemed forever immortal, other-worldly, god-like, perfect in every way.  Growing up as a young girl, David Bowie was my musical beacon and I adored him.  He had a hypnotic influence on everyone.  I first saw him live at the Pacific Coliseum in Vancouver, B.C.  on his “Isolar - 1976 Tour” in support of  his album “Station to Station” and was overwhelmed by his stunning performance.   This is a photo from that fleeting moment in time along with some of David Bowie's earlier vids to help you get through this sad day.
